  11. I am in favor of continuing the current effort.

  13. While it is regrettable that it is not possible to improve the already
  14. finalized parts of the benchmark according to our recent insights, I
  15. still think that the final outcome will be a valuable contribution.
  16. For one thing, the next benchmark may benefit from all the insights.
  17. In addition, I believe that the benchmark itself will have the very
  18. desirable qualities mentioned in its introduction. In an effort with
  19. as many partners as here, coordination based on firm deadlines is
  20. necessary. That is the price we pay when we participate in a
  21. collaborative consensus effort like this.
